Water Temp in Belize and Roatan in January?

We are going scuba diving in Belize and Roatan on our upcoming Western Caribbean cruise sailing Jan 3rd. I'm wondering if anyone knows what the water temps are right now? I have a 'thermal' skin but do a need a shorty or wet suit too? Thanks!

Last January we needed a minimum of a 3mm full in Roatan. We had dive skins on also. If I had brought a hood with me I would have worn that as well. However, there were some people who had nothing other than a swim suit on, but they appeared quite uncomfortable both in the water and during the surface intervals.

About 80 degrees F at both..............Have Fun!

We dove Belize last week and the water was 84 degrees. It should be a little cooler in January, but definitely not cold.
