becauseisaidso13 Posted December 16, 2009 #1 Share Posted December 16, 2009 We will be sailing on the Pearl out of Miami. I wanted to see what the logistics were for the check in for the suite passengers at the Miami Port. -Is there a separate entrance for the passengers in the suites? or a separate line? -What time do they start to let the suite passengers in to the check in area? What time do they have them board the ship?? -Do we check in a separate room? In Seattle, we went in through a separate entrance and then we were brought to a nice little room to wait until they could check us in. It was fun meeting new people while waiting to check in and eating the 1st of our many snacks to come!!!!! I thought that I read on one of the posts that the security line comes first and is the same for everyone??? Then you go a different direction??? Did I get that right?? We cannot wait...it is cold and snowing... thanks!!!
Sparkylok6 Posted December 16, 2009 #2 Share Posted December 16, 2009 The line to get into the building is the same for everyone. When you get inside you will be directed to a "cattle line", just tell the person directing that you are in a suite. There is a room right off to the side that is the suite check-in, with the snacks and such. We went through security after we were checked in and we had an escort to get us through. He stayed with us until we were getting on the gang way. The concierge then had her assistant escort us onto the ship, where someone else stepped in and escorted us to our suite. The rooms weren't ready yet, but we were allowed to our suite. After we dropped off our carry ons were went to Cagneys for lunch. I don't know what time they started boarding because I got there at about noon and boarding had already begun. I can tell you that the building was full and it took us less than 5 minutes from check-in to boarding the ship - we didn't even have a chance to see what snacks were offered at check-in. It was awesome. Enjoy your cruise.
