heard that you can buy wine and alcohol buy the bottle for your cabin when you are on board. cannot find any info on carnivals website reagrding this. can anyone confirm thsi?

You can call the Bon Voyage dept and order it for your cabin. It is pricey!

They have a list for wine here, but you have to call to check availability of you brand of liquor and its cost!

You can buy it thru the bon voyage gift dept before you sail, but you cannot buy it after you get on board to use during the cruise. Any bottles of liquor you buy on board will be held until the last night of the cruise.

Carnival allows you to bring 1 bottle of wine per passenger. :)

We normally order liquor for the room so we can have cocktails on the balcony before dinner. For a fifth of vodka and crown royal I believe runs around $70. For a 7 night cruise it is well worth the price compared to drinks at the bar and the fact you can relax in your room. Everytime our bottles have been in the room when we board so you have a sail away drink waiting.

You know, I think they do have spiced rum but not sure it is Captain Morgans.

Yes, we've done it a few times. Basic vodkas, bourbons, etc are $40 for a liter bottle and the prices go up from there, higher end vodka, etc, might be $55 or $60 for a liter. But it's worth it to us to not have to smuggle, the bottles are waiting in your cabin at embarkation with bows on them!
