Tampa on Sunday

I'm driving into Tamp from Texas Saturday afternoon, and our cruise doesn't leave until Monday.

I'll have my wife, daughter and mother-in-law with me.

We have thought about WDW or BG, or ?

Thoughts? What about crowds, anyone better than another this time of year?

Thanks,

-Dan

To be honest I would go with Busch Gardens. It's a full day by itself. There are plenty of rides and shows to keep everyone happy. The gorillas and hippos can keep me occupied for a long time. Make sure and get to some of the animal trainer talks.

Depending on where you stay, BG will only be a 15-30 drive away. Disney will be at least an hour drive and they you have to decide which park to go to. Disney is great, but if you haven't been there before it needs 3 days to really enjoy it, imo.

Stay in the Tampa area, rest after the long drive, enjoy Busch Gardens, and start your cruise relaxed and ready to have fun!

This is a pretty useful article on things to do in Tampa:
