DH is thinking about hiring formal wear for our cruise, can anyone tell us whether the hire is once only or for all formal nights.

 

We have three formals on our cruise.

 

Any help would be appreciated

We are renting for our NYE cruise 12/27 and I called RCCL and asked - they said that the Tux is delivered to your stateroom on the first day and then you just leave it in your room when you depart...so it is for the entire length of the cruise. They offer an option to get a couple of different tie/cumberbund or vest sets to give you some variety based on the number of formal nights; for our 7-nt cruise it was $89 for one and $99 for the option of two sets.

 

Well worth it compared to the $130 that our local Tux Shop was going to charge...you just sacrifice a little of the variety you get from choosing your own tux combos locally.

They also give you fresh shirts for each formal evening. Well, we had two formal evenings and they included two shirts, so that was nice. Not sure about three.

How do you hire formal wear?? Do you get a model in a tux to replace your DH for formal nights?? Does that include the whole evening Cocktails thru after dinner dancing

Let me know so I can hire one to replace me on those nights im too tired from shore. My GF might enjoy the upgrade:D
