Does anyone have info on Stan the Man that plays the guitar and sings on the Freedom? He has a beautiful voice and we were so disappointed that we only found him next to the last night of our 12/13-12/19 cruise.

 

He told my friend that he used to be with the Sons of the Pioneers. He cut his last set short so did not get to find out about CD's, etc. (I don't think he was feeling well).

Just curious if you saw "Music Boardwalk". They were on you cruise and are a great rock band. They also have a new keyboard player and was wondering how their new sound is? Thanks for the info. Mary49

We saw him as well last week. He was awesome. The night before the last night he played for like 4 hrs straight in the casino. I think he was a little tired that last day.

Cruiser365, You must have been one of us in the Casino Bar that night. He did play for around 4 hours. He was going to take a break but never did. Finally around 1 am we left.

 

The next day he cut it a little short out at the pool and then did not get started as scheduled in the Lobby that night. He looked so tired.

 

We told him we would see him on the next cruise and he said, "Don't bet on it." Playing a cruise ship may just be too much for him.

 

MAO, don't know about the piano bar, never made it there.

Wasn't he awesome! One of the girls we sat with on the cruise and I'm still in touch with bought his CDs last month, what information are wanting?

Just info as to how a cd can be obtained now that we are off the ship.

Just learned that the guitar player was NOT Stan The Man. The name on the schedule had not been changed. Apparently he was filling in for Stan The Man who was on break.

 

Stan lives in our community and works for Carnival but we didn't know which ship. Upon asking him if he knew him, he said, "Yes that is me." What a shocker!!!!!

 

Now who is this guy with a wonderful voice?
