Hi everyone

As a new cruiser Im not sure how this works and the time involved.

Im interested in booking a stingray tour from Celebrity Equinox Jan 27 and am travelling in Aqua Class ,does anyone know if we would make a tour at 9am if the ship arrives at 8am?

I believe we do have early disembarkation in Aqua class.

Hope someone out there will know.

Thanks .

We were just in Grand Cayman on Celebrity. As you probably know, everyone goes ashore on tenders (assuming decent weather ). Celebrity tends to take passengers on its own shore excursions first, although if I recall, you can request an early tender. Just be sure if you go with an indep. operator and pay in advance that you can get your money back if no tenders are running. (We've been there 3 times in the winter and only twice could we get ashore).

9 will be tight but probably can be done, although it isn't certain. Be sure your meeting time at a place close to the tender pier is at 9. If your excursion is scheduled to START at 9 you might find yourself needing to walk a few blocks to make an 8:30 meeting time which would definitely present a problem. I'd also talk to the tour operator and see if they have experience with passengers that have been on your particular ship's schedule. Also ask them what to do if you're running a few minutes late - if you can call them on your cell phone or something (and if so make sure you have international roaming enabled on your phone).
