jt58203 Posted December 21, 2009 #1 Share Posted December 21, 2009 Will employees be processing bananas on a Sunday? Will taking a tour that involves a stop at the plantation still be just as fun, interesting, & informative if employees are not working?
daZboys Posted December 22, 2009 #2 Share Posted December 22, 2009 I just got back from visiting Costa Rica last week. Our cruise stopped in Costa Rica on Wed and we visited the DelMonte Banana plantation. We were told that their hours of operation depended on the orders that they receive. They start in the morning and end when the order is complete. they do not work a set number of hours and the planataion is operational 7 days a week. It was an interesting stop, but were only their for about 30 minutes. Which is plenty of time.
