barbados supermarket?

a question for "jtutak" - see setting up bar thread. you mentioned a supermarket in Barbados, walking distance from the port. Could you pass on details - name, which direction from the port, do they sell soda, juice, rum etc? Do they take US $?

 

also, does anyone know if it's possible to walk to the Brighton Beach area in Barbados - I'm sure I read this somewhere but cannot find the info. so don't have details on which direction from the port, how far etc.

Supermarket is approximately 1/2 mile on the left just past the craft market on the only road that exits the port. They sell everything a U.S market sells and :D rum:D . They take U.S. $ but might give you Barbados $ change so take small bills.
