judyf Posted December 26, 2009 #1 Share Posted December 26, 2009 I need to book an NCL cruise asap due to using a BOA cert that will expire soon. I'm looking to see if there's any senior, resident, charge card or Latitudes discounts currently out there. I've done lots of searching today but don't really know where to look.:o I knew if anyone knew it would be the people who post here.:D Thanks

bluefintuna Posted December 27, 2009 #3 Share Posted December 27, 2009 Many online sites offer perks such as free gratuities or cash debited to your ship account. Our last cruise was $125 per cabin. We can't mention individual sites to research, but I can tell you by researching you can find deals much less than booking directly thru NCL. We have booked this way for over 20 cruises and never had a problem.
melligene Posted December 27, 2009 #4 Share Posted December 27, 2009 We've only cruised twice. Last Nov. and this Nov. I'm just going to throw this out there and you can take it for what it's worth. We booked through a local TA who, for whatever reason, new very little about NCL. Got what we thought was a pretty good deal last year. Booked through her again in April for our cruise in November of this year. Saved $164/pp for a midship minisuite by booking early. Again......take that info for what it's worth. Wasasalad Posted December 27, 2009 #5 Share Posted December 27, 2009 The other agencies somehow were able to charge me more fees for insurance! We've only cruised twice. Last Nov. and this Nov. melligene Posted December 27, 2009 #6 Share Posted December 27, 2009 The other agencies somehow were able to charge me more fees for insurance! Insurance and cruise discounts are really two seperate entities. Insurance is based on coverage you want. It is also based on your age. Our coverage cost was $184.00 for a seven day cruise based on our age and coverage which included air fare coverage and pre-existing medical conditions. You get what you pay for.
