Interesting sailaway

Last month we sailed on Caribbean Princess and were parked near Ventura . During the sailaway everybody on Ventura was waving British flags. It looked really nice. Is this a common P&O tradition?

Yes, I find it a bit embarrassing myself, too patriotic & jingoistic, but people like it & are quite fun really. They like to stir up Americans & Germans mostly!!

Next time I am taking my American and maybe Ukrainian flags when sailing in Southerm Caribbean. :D

They don't do it every stop, & in Norway we had a classical one too. Had a good'un from Gibraltar this year.
