M Class Balcony question

Recommended Posts

We recently reserved a cabin 8045 on Constellation.. for PC cruise next year.

Looks to be a spacious, angled balcony. Any input to size, privacy issues, etc.?? Not sure a floor up would be as attractive, because of the overhang

All the aft balconies were booked, and these staterooms looked to have a substantially larger balcony area.

Feedback appreciated.. and Happy New Year to all!

8045 is a very nice cabin and veranda. If I couldn't get an aft, I'd be happy with it. The angle doesn't give you more usable square footage so much as give you a sense of spaciousness that is very nice. As far as privacy is concerned the extension outward of 8043 gives you a solid wall forward and the partition with 8047 is the same as those on all of the verandas in the line. If you stand at the rail, those further back can see you if they are at the rail also.

By the way, I didn't find the overhang on Sky Deck annoying at all - especially on the day we hit a fairly heavy storm and we could sit on the veranda without the rain blowing all over us. Those below us couldn't use their balconies.
