Countdown clock

I am new to CC and I see everyone has their countdown clock. I want one!! How do I add that?:)

As a part of the CC mast head there is a line at the bottom that has the following:

User CP FAQ Guidelines Photo Gallery Countdown Clocks

 

You need to set your countdown clock and you can also update your User CP (profile).

 

Try it out and let us know if you can make it work!

Hopefully someone here will explain it in a easy to understand way.

 

It isn't hard. But....

It is hard for me to explain, you have to have a profile

and customize it. There is a yellow bar a few inches down from the top of the Cruise Critic web page and about 1/3 the way across it says countdown clocks. You go there and make selections, then copy and past some info into the signature on your profile. see..I can't explain it:confused:

2. Enter the necessary data, shipname, date, picture etc.

3. Click create countdown clock.

4. Copy the necessary lines in the box as instructed.

5. Click on User CP in upper left below the Cruise Critic logo.

6. Click on edit signatures on left side.

7. Past the copied text in signature window.

8. Click preview. Once you happy save your signature.

There seems to be an overall problem with them, including mine, maybe a host is working on them?

Yeah..they seem to "disappear" from time to time for a bit, but then they always seem to mysteriously re-appear again in a few days! :eek:

 

It's happened with almost every cruise I've taken since joining this site!
