mickym Posted January 2, 2010 #1 Share Posted January 2, 2010 Do people wear swim suits and cover ups off the ship or are there good places to change into swim wear on the MR beaches?
Beth & Rob Posted January 2, 2010 #2 Share Posted January 2, 2010 Complex question... if you are going to spend the entire day on the beach, then sure wear your suit under shorts and a top. if you are going to do the beach and another activity that is non-water you may want to stuff a backpack with a change of clothes. there are plenty of restaurant restrooms you can change in. bobnsofi Posted January 2, 2010 #3 Share Posted January 2, 2010 we travel with swim suite under our clothing and carry a bag with gear for a swim, just in case because you never know when you will find a great pool in port
Lidolounger Posted January 2, 2010 #4 Share Posted January 2, 2010 We always wear our swimsuits going to port. DH wears trunks and a T-shirt, I wear swimsuit and either a cover up or shorts and a t-shirt. When we're done at the beach we usually just put our clothes on over the suits again and keep going - make sure to pack a bag that you can use while in port. Usually keep some hair stuff, change of clothes, snorkels etc in it. Depending on how long we're in port, we don't like having to go back on the ship to change as it wastes so much time. mickym Posted January 2, 2010 Author #5 Share Posted January 2, 2010 Under shorts, huh? Man, why did I buy the bottom with the skirt. Like my hips aren't big enough already.
