Hiking Mount HIllaby

We are planning our honeymoon to the Barbados in late June/early July and have just a couple questions.

 

1. This is obviously not the peak time to go, but is the weather going to be okay there with not too much rain, problems, etc.?

 

2. We are rather outdoorsey type of people and I have seen online organized tours that have a day trip to Mount Hillaby, I was wondering if this could be at our own liesure without an organized tour group. If so, where would we find the trailhead and how long is the hike to the summit, how strenuous is it?
