FLcruisergirl Posted January 5, 2010 #1 Share Posted January 5, 2010 I am trying to decide between the following hotels for a pre-cruise 2 night stay. My most important considerations are luxury and a great location (want to be able to walk around South Beach area) and a large gym with free weights/machines/ellipticals, etc. The hotels I am considering are: Mandarin Oriental, Ritz South Beach, and Loews. I am open to other suggestions as well.

I am open to other suggestions as well. The Gansavoort has the best gym in South Beach. The Mandarin Oriental is a gorgeous luxury hotel and the Ritz Carlton South Beach is also very lux. While the Loews is a really really nice hotel, it is not in the same league as the above three. FWIW, the Mandarin Oriental is not in South Beach but about five miles away in Miami.
