rosaree Posted January 6, 2010 #1 Share Posted January 6, 2010 Am interested to hear from other Aussies who have cruised on Rhapsody of the Seas as to the pricing of drinks. Recently read a review which said that the prices had been reduced but also read a review that said that the alchohol in the 2 for one drinks is neglible. Just want an idea of how much a decent bottle of wine and a middy of beer will cost us. Any info would be much appreciated.

Just want an idea of how much a decent bottle of wine and a middy of beer will cost us. Any info would be much appreciated. Bottles wine vary dramatically as they do anywhere.....................But, as a guide, glasses of el cheapo house wine start at USD$5.50 and a normal "domestic" can of beer starts at USD$3.95. Imported beers are more. In Oz waters, they normally include a few "Ozzie" brands at the USA domestic price.. Add a min. compulsory 15% tip to all drinks at time of purchase. This is not just a Rhapsody price, it seems same price fleet wide, and is also competitive pricing to other lines. Hope this helps.. S and P. . . . The_Big_M Posted January 6, 2010 #3 Share Posted January 6, 2010 I think prices are realistic for spirits/cocktails, although wine prices are on the high side imo. It depends how much you drink though; if just occasionally , it's not a big difference, but if you were to be drinking regularly, the extra will become more sizeable in total.
