Help with Fishing Excursion

We're going on the Vision of the Seas in July, 2005 and are looking at the excursions Royal Caribbean is offering. I want to go on one of the fishing excusions. For those of you who have been before would I have better luck salmon fishing in Icy Strait or Ketchikan? ------ Which port did you like better for salmon fishing?

I recommend Ketchikan, we are known as the "Salmon capitol of the world"

This is only the 2nd year that Icy Strait (Hoonah) has been a cruise port, so there are very limited facilities yet. Though Hoonah is a fishing community, Ketchikan is a better choice for fishing trips.
