Smithkids5521 Posted January 7, 2010 #1 Share Posted January 7, 2010 Howdy all... I have a quick question that hoping an experienced Carnival cruiser can help me with- I have been seeing that with a DOD purchase you can get $5 casino credit and I also saw that you can get a $30 spa credit. So my question is this... would there be a limit to how many "credits" we can get at once? Like if we have 4 DOD, can my hubby take our receipts to the casino and get $20 in credit to play at the casino? And, on the spa side... does this mean I would have $120 in credit at the spa? Or... could I only use $30 at a time (like if I got a massage that cost $120- I could only use $30 per service instead of paying for it in full with the credit from our 4 DOD?) I have visions of my hubby taking the casino credit and having fun while I maybe get a nice mani/pedi...how perfect would that be? :D Thanks, Diana :)
mgonagl Posted January 7, 2010 #2 Share Posted January 7, 2010 We were on the Freedom in October and I received the casino credits with my Mohitos. They are a $5 credit that needs to be taken to the cage for tickets that can be exchanged for chips at the table games. You cannot use them in the slot machines. I don't know about the spa, but in the casino you can use as many as you want, but you must put up $5 of your money for every coupon you use. Hope that helps! steveNcindy Posted January 7, 2010 #3 Share Posted January 7, 2010 I thought it was only on the Carnival Signature drinks - do the DOD's also have this?? Would be very interested as well in more info on the spa credit.

Sargent_Schultz Posted January 7, 2010 #13 Share Posted January 7, 2010 Define classic cocktial,,is a martini one? What about a bourbon and 7-up? Carnival's Definition is not what most people might think. It does help compensate for the lack of comped drinks in the casino.
Smithkids5521 Posted January 7, 2010 Author #14 Share Posted January 7, 2010 I was viewing someone's video of their cruise on the Pride... and there was a sign on the table talking about Mojito Madness- $5 match play coupon and $30 spa credit... that is where I noticed the spa credit but since no one else has heard of it, maybe it was just a special last night of the cruise special on the Pride. Even with just a casino match- it is still $5 that I didn't have before- and since we plan on visiting the casino once or twice, that makes our yummy drink only $3.75 instead of $8.75... not too bad! Thanks for all of the info!!!
