Is the Splendor arriving late again

Has anyone heard why Carnival is asking us who are sailing on the Carnival Splendor to arrive between 2-3 on Sunday? This has never happened to me before, so it makes me wonder what is going on.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I haven't heard anything, they are cruising to Cabo right now going about 17 knots. I'll check around....

That is the normal arrival time they want for the Splendor.....

They asked us to do that in Oct and the ship was in port by 7am they just dont want a mad rush all trying to get on the ship at one time...

That is the standard automated phone call for Long Beach.

 

Not everyone gets it though. Must be a crowd control thing.

We got that call when we were on the Splendor in October, of course we didn't get the message because they called the day before the cruise and we were already in Long Beach. It's standard for Long Beach and the Splendor now. We were there at our usual 10:00 a.m. and on board before noon.
