cigarette prices

hi we are going on a mexican riviera cruise and would like to know if anyone knows how much you can purchase cigarettes in the ports for. thanks for your help

most ships charge around $20 a carton. You will find them as cheap as $12 at some of the ports BUT those will be local made ones. You are generally better off(not smoking) with the ones on the ship which are US made.

The cost also depends on which brand(s) you are seeking. Some RJR products, like Winston's, are not easily found either on land and on board. Marlboro products are usually available everywhere. There are also discounts for multiple carton purchases. FYI on our last cruise the only thing C & I asked about were cigarettes. They could have cared less about booze. That was a first!
