Swim with the Horses??

Has anyone done the swim with the horses excursion? How long did you actually ride? Do you recommend it?

I will be going to the Cayman Islands on the Valor in February and I am also interested in horseback riding for myself and my eight year old daughter. I am interested to also know if anyone has done this and if they think it would be safe for the two of us?

Do you mean is the island safe for an adult and a child to go off on a tour themselves? Or do you mean is horseback riding safe for an 8yo?

 

While I haven't ridden in Cayman, I've done beach rides other places and they've been very sedate, so I'm sure the riding part would be safe enough as long as you follow the guides' instructions.

 

Cayman itself is very safe, and you'd be fine going off on your own.

I called and talked to a lady at this company and she sounded nice. She said during this time of the year there is a chance that the weather would not be nice enough. But I would just like to hear from someone that has done it.
