Regal question

We will be on the may 8 cruise to Alaska on the Regal, can anyone tell me if there pool is heated, I know they don't have any inside pool, but is the one outside heated. Thank you. Teresa

To my knowledge none of Princess' ships have heated pools.

That's what makes the hot tubs so crowded ;) .

On my Alaska cruise on the Regal, I saw ONE person swimming. He was a tuff little teenager.:D

The one with the swim up bar is heated (not superwarm, but at least it's not ice cold. :) ) Of course the bar itself may not be open - when we sailed to Alaska previously on her it was closed.

I have called princess cruise and they have told me that one of the pools on the regal are heated from 70 to 80 degrees.

 

We are getting on the ship the day you return on May 18th I will wave at you as we pass by :) .

We our going to Alaska on July 27th, is it warm enough to swim in the pool?

We sailed the Regal to Alaska some years ago and there were many in the hot tubs while going through the glaciers. They were very brave soles as they had to get out at some point. lol

We were in the hot tubs on Christmas Eve one year at Lake Tahoe. I not sure of the outside temp, but it was snowing the whole time. It was so much fun. It was a bit brisk walking over, but it wasn't bad going back because we were radiating heat from soaking in the hot water.

 

Viewing the glaciers from a hot tub hmmmm. Not a bad idea.
