Finding the right cruise for a 9month old

We're looking to cruise next summer with our son who will be around 9 months, depending on when we decide to go. My husband and I are both experienced cruisers as a couple so we're looking for the best fit for a cruise for our little one. Can anyone make any suggestions for cruises with the following things as wishes we'd like to have on a cruise?

 

-Royal Caribbean or Carnival

-splashpad for baby since he won't be potty trained yet

-a ship that goes to port(s) that have baby favorable things to do, like cabanas, beaches, etc.

-a shorter cruise, preferably 3-5 days

 

Can anyone suggest some ships and ports to look at? Thanks!

At nine months, it won't matter one iota to the baby. Pick the cruise that best suits YOU!

Only a few RCI ships have water areas for diapered children. Don't know about that on Carnival ships....

Shoot---you're so close to almost every Florida port, you can take your pick!

Freedom, Liberty, Independence, Oasis of the Seas. Week long cruises, but these ships have a small area in the H2O zone that is specifically for non-potty trained infants/toddlers to play in. All of the caribbean islands have beaches with shade.

 

I agree with CB - pick an itinerary that suits YOU and then check the ports of call board for more info.
