Altun Ha/River Wallace tour

they say you can buy lunch at the Black Orchid riverside rest stop...what's on the menu there?

I had the Caribbean staple of chicken, rice and beans, fried plantains and cole slaw plus a beer. I think they also had burgers on the menu but the menu was very limited. The food was nothing special. Outside they had a couple of tables where you could sample and buy cashew and other local wines or various trinkets.

I was just looking to book the Altun Ha/River Wallace through Carnival for our March 14 cruise on the Valor and the tour is no longer listed- anyone know why- do they change tours often - could it be sold out already....just curious if anyone has any info - would be appreciated.Thanks

I am not sure why it would not be showing up. I just went to Carnival and checked out the excursions for Belize and it is listed. I did not put in a certain date. We are planning on doing this one in April.

My family and I took this tour a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it. We did not eat at the restaurant. We took snacks and had a picnic outside at the tables.

this was the worst tour we ever did. And that rest stop smelled like a cess pool. Never again.
