We are going on The Pharoahs and the Promise Land cruise in March and wondered how much local currency we will need. We will be two days in Israel, two days in Egypt and one day in Syria. Also can you buy currency on board.

Hi,

I take it you are going to Alexandria and Cairo when in Egypt. When we were there last June all they wanted was Euros or U.S.$. Preferably Euros.

I can't help with the others sorry.

 

You can buy currency on board but the rate of exchange will not be as good as the high street.
