Need some "What to do" advice for Nassau

Our HAL cruise will have us in Nassau on Mar 25th. The itinerary says we will be there between 1:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. This is the shortest stay of any of our destinations.

 

We are looking to relax on a nice sandy white beach. And then catch a small meal before we head back to the ship.

 

Anyone have any advice on which beach or part of town to go to?
