leonardjan Posted January 13, 2010 #1 Share Posted January 13, 2010 Hi, The only connecting rooms we can get right now are above the Casino on the 7th floor of the Brilliance, Royal Caribbean. Has anyone ever had a room above the casino? Can you hear the casino? Is it smokier? Thanks! JLo
cb at sea Posted January 13, 2010 #2 Share Posted January 13, 2010 You won't have smoke....there are 2 layers of floor between you and the next deck.... (Your floor is not the ceiling of the casino!) Noise shouldn't be an issue, either....unless there's a late night tourney....and they usually hold them in the afternoon.
ghini Posted January 14, 2010 #3 Share Posted January 14, 2010 We had a room above the casino on another ship and we heard the slot machine bells during the night. Also had an aft room under the lido deck and heard chairs being pushed around early in the morning when they were getting things set up for that day. I am careful on what is above and below us when selecting rooms.
FEMH Posted January 19, 2010 #4 Share Posted January 19, 2010 Better to be safe than sorry. We always book on a floor that has cabins above and below us. I'd never want to be near the pool deck, or the entertainment area.
