Paradise island -Red sea

Has anyone done the Paradise Island excursion from the Celebration, On the Red sea magic cruise

 

what did you think you think of it?

We went to Paradise Island back in Dec,it was a great way to relax on your last day after a very busy week.

You are taken from the ship by minibus (about 1 hour) to get on a boat that takes you to the island(about 50mins).You relax on the beach in a reserved area with sunshades.The crew of the boat take you out to a reef where you can snorkal(provided)lots of different fish to see.Also from the beach you can see several types without having to snorkal. There is also a good buffet(included). I would recommend this trip if you are looking to do something other than the Luxor trips and a great way to end your holiday.Total trip time about 8/9 hours.

Do you or anyone else know whether you can get a taxi into Hurghada city so that we can do our own thing exploring the city or is this port one of the ports were taxis cant come on the dockside

I can't help you regarding taxis as we only used the ships tours.The ports are industrial ports so there may not be any taxis allowed,others may have taken more notice and beable help you out.
