SuperCoolOne Posted January 13, 2010 #1 Share Posted January 13, 2010 Posted this on the ports of call board but checking here as well. We are on carnival and have a private excursion booked for the morning in Nassau but we are docked there until 10. Our morning excursion runs from 9-12:30ish. We may go have lunch on the boat, then maybe cab it to a private beach (suggestions) Or, drop the kids off after lunch at camp and then head out to atlantis on our own and check it out. Maybe stop at senor frogs on the way back? I think we will save taking the kids to atlantis for another trip when we have a full day. It seems like taking them for an afternoon would not get our money's worth. any other family friendly ideas?
cb at sea Posted January 13, 2010 #2 Share Posted January 13, 2010 There are public beaches--I can't remember the names tho! After your excursion, why not veg at the ship's pool..it will be almost empty of crowds! On port days, the ship is like a "private yacht"! Nice I like the Atlantis idea, tho....you don't pay a penny addmission to wander about, use the restaurants (well, the food isn't free!) or casino! I would never pay to use Atlantis' pool, anyway...even if I had a full day!
SuperCoolOne Posted January 13, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted January 13, 2010 That would be another possibility. Chill out on the ship and let DP (dear partner) take a nap and take the kids to the kids club. Maybe there would be a massage special at that point for me too!
