Walking tour on our own info?

Our current thinking is to take a taxi and then do a walking tour on our own. Is anyone aware of information on the internet that would help us know what we're looking at? I know you can sometimes find walking tour guides online.

You can take a taxi to the old walled city and then easily walk around and explore on your own. The Lonely Planet Colombia guidebook has a pretty good section on Cartagena with a map that shows where everything is. No problem at all! It's a great city and I really enjoyed visiting.
