Max Circus Posted January 14, 2010 #3 Share Posted January 14, 2010 Not true - at least on ships that are supposed to depart before the dinner hour. Which is most of them. San Juan cruises seem to leave late (10PMish), so that may be special case. On all of my cruises, we have dined in MDR on first night. All from either Miami or Tampa. katiel53 Posted January 15, 2010 #4 Share Posted January 15, 2010 We have sailed from San Juan and still had dinner in the MDR. I think someone was pulling your leg, lol.
wework2play Posted January 15, 2010 #5 Share Posted January 15, 2010 The only reason for no dinner in mdr would be a delay with very late boarding.
scperk Posted January 15, 2010 #6 Share Posted January 15, 2010 I think some cruises have lunch and dinner in the MDR the first day...it's come as you are because some people have not received their luggage yet...Dennis
