In the fall there were thousands of birds that could be observed very close up. The ride out is not terrible, but it is a little bumpy. They use kind of a four wheel minibus vehicle stopping at a fantastic outlook before going out to the very tip. If it's a nice day, and ours was crystal clear, the view is worth the cost of the trip.
