Civitavecchia Taxi to Port

We are planning on taking the train from Rome to Civitavecchia with a about 4 bags but would like to take a taxi instead of walking from the Civitavecchia train station to the port.

 

Will I have trouble getting a taxi once we get to ground level and will the taxi take me to the ship or to the port shuttle?

There are a;sways plenty of taxis> We have done this twice> It Oct it was 2o Euro's. Perhaps a little high, but it is right to the ship.

Have you done this cruise yet? We will be sailing from Civit in June 2010 and I am trying to figure out the best (some mix of not ridiculously expensive and not too long) way to get from Rome to the port.

Go to your roll call and see if you can share a transfer with someone on there. We had 3 couples share a Mercedes van and the cost at 30 EUR pp was a lot more reasonable, than just the two of us trying to do the transfer.
