lcumpire Posted January 17, 2010 #1 Share Posted January 17, 2010 We are planning on taking the train from Rome to Civitavecchia with a about 4 bags but would like to take a taxi instead of walking from the Civitavecchia train station to the port. Will I have trouble getting a taxi once we get to ground level and will the taxi take me to the ship or to the port shuttle? Thank you for your help. We will be sailing from Civit in June 2010 and I am trying to figure out the best (some mix of not ridiculously expensive and not too long) way to get from Rome to the port. agabbymama Posted January 20, 2010 #4 Share Posted January 20, 2010 Go to your roll call and see if you can share a transfer with someone on there. We had 3 couples share a Mercedes van and the cost at 30 EUR pp was a lot more reasonable, than just the two of us trying to do the transfer.
