Kennedy Excursion from Carnival

Has anyone done the Kennedy Space Center Excursion offered by Carnival on debarkation day? I usually don't book excursions offered by cruise lines, but this includes transfer to Orlando Airport if your flight is after 4:00 pm (which ours is). Just wondered if you were one of the first off the ship and if you had plenty of time to get to the airport and go through security. Any info would be appreciated.
