Murder mystery dinner on Oasis?

Not been to one of these, but heard they are good fun. Can anyone shed any light ? And also am I correct in assuming Oasis doesnt have one of these??

I started a thread about this earlier because I found out that while it was originally offered, they nixed it. So I was trying to see what kind of response to the MMD there would be and it has been positive. Therefore, I sent Adam Goldstein an email telling him how much we enjoyed it on the Freedom and how people would have no problem paying a surcharge for the MMD (as they do on the Freedom) and respectfully requested that they offer it as a dining experience on the Oasis. He responded today:

Fantastic, I hope they take the feedback seriously & take some action. Are they going to keep you posted about the decision ? Oh by the way, what exactly is a MMD....I mean who takes part & what happens?

It was a hoot. On the Freedom it was offered the first night in Portofinos but started out in Olive or Twist (my DH's FAV bar on that ship) and the theme was a 10 year high school class renuion. The cast members were also dancers and singers in the shows so it was really a nice way to meet people who worked on the ship and as the week went by, we would see them frequently and several times during a show they would wave and say hello from the stage. Gave it more of a "personal" feel. Anywho, after the initial start to the MMD and you have some of the background information, we all moved from Olive or Twist into Portofinos and while dinner was served, they acted out the murder mystery. We all had to guess who we thought it was and the person who guessed correctly won a really nice gift basket.

 

I certainly hope they will offer it on the Oasis. I will keep you updated as to anything I find out :)
