Bringing wine onboard ship?

Think I'm right but better check with you lot who know everything....

Just done a Carnival cruise and we could bring a bottle of wine each onboard at embarkation, is this a no-no with RCCL? :)

No alcohol of any kind is allowed to be brought onboard.
