Century Continental ..Conv vs King beds??

We would prefer to sleep in a king size bed if that is what is really being offered in the Continental level oceanview rooms but our assigned cabin says Conv...which I read is two single beds which convert to a double??? Twin beds usually combine to make a king on land.

 

Anyone experience these beds and if the layout or size of the rooms are different or whether the king is actually two twins put together?
