cruise critic door signs

Hi:

 

When we sailed on RCL we printed a door sign for our stateroom.

 

I can't seem to find it. Do people still use them ?

 

How do I print them?

I use a Cruise Critic Magnet....from the CC store. Works great! :D

The NCL Star definitely has metal doors and the magnet stuck beautifully all two weeks of our cruise.

I'm thinking the Jewel was pretty much a composite door i.e. fiberglass. Please keep in mind I have no memory and will stand corrected if anyone else chimes in.....

Jewel doors are metal, but because of the louvred effect, a door sign doesn't lay flat on the door. I hung mine on the side (under the spinner wheel "make up room", which isn't quite 8 1/2 inches wide.

Just off the Gem this morning & the Gem also had "louvred" door but metal....unfortunately, some kids stole our "autism speaks" puzzle piece magnet the first night of our cruise, but our CC neighbors had their CC magnetic sign up throughout! Still can't figure out why they took my our magnet but I hope it was for awareness. I guess that was the downside to having a cabin right by the elevators/stairs....

On our last cruise, I printed this out, put it in one of those paper protectors that you use in a notebook, glued pieces of one of the many refrigerator magnets on each corner, & it stuck on the door perfectly!

Sorry about that! :( Our cabin was right by the elevators too but no one touched my magnetic door sign from Vista prints on which I could change the message with a dry erase marker. Perhaps the Bible verses I posted each day allowed ours to stay intact!! :)
