Can you snorkel off of Rum Point Beach?

Any snorkeling to be done right off the beach there?

The water is clear and shallow, and I saw a few stringrays, but nothing else. Here is a shot taken while standing on the pier looking towards the beach. Crystal clear water!

If you're facing the beach from the pier, to your left about 50ft out. there are some rocks with some small fish around it, If you swim out about 150 yards there is better snorkeling according to a couple I met at the beach.

My husband and I snorkeled a couple of times at Rum Point and saw alot of fish and alot of conch. the water is really clear and the beach is awesome. Hope you get to see a sunset there, too beautiful to miss.
