diane.in.ny Posted January 25, 2010 #2 Share Posted January 25, 2010 There is a supermarket in town...right along the waterfront. That's where I go to buy my spices. I would guess it could be the best place to buy chocolate.

IslandStar Posted January 26, 2010 #4 Share Posted January 26, 2010 You haven't heard of Grenada Cholcolate. Grenada's chocolate won the 2008 Silver Award from the London Academy of Chocolate. Superbly rich, dark and organic it is excellent and comes in fabulous packaging too. It is available in three strengths 60%, 71% and 82% cocoa. Grenada also produces a drinking chocolate and this is new as of the middle of 2009. It is made in a small factory/workshop and is exported to the USA, the UK and Europe. Just type into Google Grenada Chocolate Factory and check out their website for info on where and how it is grown. You can buy it int he supermarkets in town and also in the cruise liner shopping mall. It is the same price in all the establishments. Enjoy!! bratvova Posted April 9, 2010 #5 Share Posted April 9, 2010 We went in to town and bought chocolate there. Went through couple of stores to check the prices and saw that they all the same $5US (in port $6US) per bar of 60% and 71%, did not find 82%. Also we bought local COCO powder for our son called “smiley coco”. Also bought couple packs of coco balls and jerky souse. In the big stores all registers are computerized and they automatically convert EC to USD , so we paid cash and did not have to worry about credit cards and extra charges for conversion. :)

And I had to get my chance in EC. LOL
