Summit Normandie tipping

Heading out on the Summit soon and have a question regarding the specialty restaurant. I've read the restaurant surcharge ($25 or 30?? billed to your account) takes care of the tipping but I am wondering if anyone tips beyond this in cash after dinner? Also, is the wine list the same as in the main dining room or do they offer a better selection? Thanks for your input.

Hi there!

We tipped extra because we had way more than EXTRA service!!

The wine list is different, has many more expensive selections & much better wines! It is VERY worthwhile to dine there!

We tipped also. The service was worthy of an extra show of appreciation.Don't forget to wear elastic trousers.The meals are not vast in size but they sneak up on one.In my opinion one visit per cruise is enough.The whole experience is from the top drawer.
