Port to boardwalk to Accra Beach?

Using this route, what is the most scenic? We are up for walking some on the boardwalk but how do you access it? and does it take you to Accra Beach? Thanks

We just had the taxi take us to the Hilton. Walked to their beach and continued along the beach to the Boardwalk and then on to Accra. It took less than an hour and it was wonderful. Did it first thing before it got too hot and then spent the rest of the time at Accra. Before leaving walked across the street to Just Grillin and had a great flying fish sandwich and drink for less than $10 US.

Don't see the point of trudgeing the 1st part through town, Macaroni has it right ,taxi to a point then walk. Try the link to see!

only if you want to spend a couple of hours walking, but I'd agree with what has been said. Get the cab to the Hilton area, or to Drill Hall beach and then following the beach to the east from there.. you will pass a couple of hotels before the boardwalk, then from there to Accra/Rockley Beach.

 

It could be an interesting walk from the port, but it will take you a while,.. and if you plan to do it, wear good shoes, and plan to walk on the road till you at least get to the Hastings Police Station (Drill Hall Beach). There are some interesting buildings along that way as well as the old Garrison Buildings and the Defense Force base. You can walk along Carlisle bay area, but if the purpose is the board walk and Accra, it doesn't make sense.
