Zipline:Grand Cayman or Roatan????

You have a number of choices on Roatan. Since you're sailing on Carnival glory, you'll be docking in Mahogany Bay and there's a new Clip and Zip across from the pier. $40 pp. No need to get a cab or arrange a tour.

It's about 2 kilometers long, 13 platforms and 11 runs.

Also there's Pirates of the Caribbean down toward the south west end which offers several levels of zips

and South Shore Canopy which has very long and high runs. We did this one last year and it was amazing.

Zipline is a must on our itinerary just not sure on where we should do so?

Ayone have suggestions??

Pirates is GREAT...loved the first loooong zip -- and the video of me trying to get the nerve to take the first 'big step' is hilarious! www.roatanpiratescanopy.com.

Also, have been to Mayan Jungle Canopy a couple of times and LOVED it! www.mayanjunglecanopy.com. Great for all experience levels, I would say... but I really loved the way there were more challenging zips later in the course! It really helped you to "get your nerve up!" and the excitement kept building (instead of one great thrill first, then a bunch of short, dull zips!)

I plan on hitting South Shore (can't post their URL, but it is south shore canopy dot com) again on our next trip to Roatan, the last time it was pretty busy and we were kinda' rushed through. We also did one that is no longer in business a couple of times (Roatan Jungle Canopy) and loved it...but the zips were short. The jungle scenery there was amazing, though, and I will never forget the fun times we had!

I hope that, for any place that you decide...you'll have a great time and will have a memory that will last a lifetime, too!

Zipline Roatan!
