Margaritaville beach or Turtle Beach to relax?

Hi everyone,

 

Our cruise ship will be in Ochos Rios in March.

 

Just wanted to find out which beach I should go to that is best for relaxing and going swimming (deciding between marg beach and turtle beach)

 

Which one would you recommend?

 

P.S What are the entrance fees for both?

would like to know that also....I do know that Margaritaville is free if you buy Nacho's or something to eat/drink.

Margaritaville beach is free to use if you purchase drinks/food. Security will keep the vendors away and will be relaxing. The only problem is you are right in the port. It is not that "ideal tropical beach" feeling you might expect. You will be in sight of the ship and that is nice, but you will also have all the other port stuff with you. Easy access to return to the ship if you feel the need. Shopping right there as well. I am not sure what Turtle Beach is like though, sorry, I can't compare the two.
