Stainless Steel Thermos bottles

Quick question.

 

We have a number of SS thermos that we use to carry drinks for the kids and us that we would like to take along on the Pearl in Feb.

 

Question is does anyone think these will send up a red flag on the ships xray and get us a call to the "Naughty Room" for inspection.

 

While these would come in handy to keep drinks cold and have convenient Carabiner rings for attaching to bags if they are going to be a pain to get on-board I'd just as well leave em home and make do with something else.

I really doubt it. We take them too, and they have never been red-flagged.

 

If you are really concerned, however, put them in your carry-on, so if they are detected and checked, it will be done and over with before you board. :)

We have a couple that we bring along. Nover had a problem getting tehm on the ship after an excursion. I would pack them in checked luggage however for a plane flight.

We recently packed an empty SS Thermos in our check-in for short flight to So. Cal. Don't know if its a coincidence, but going and return, the TSA left a note that they opened our bag. Never happened before.
