Washing machine

You're usually not doing a whole load of laundry like at home. We wash shorts, t-shirts, work out clothing, etc... they're big enough to handle a nice sized load. What I didn't like was the price, they're up to $3.00 a load for the washer and again for the dryer. I hang my items to dry but my husband's go into the dryer. Have a great time on the Dream, we loved her!

I thought it was an average size load--not the Extra Extra Large Load you may have at home, but there were three of us ladies in the cabin and we combined for one load of whites and one of colors. We were on board for 12 days so we had a bit of laundry. They are NOT like the apartment combos.

During our cruise there was a note left with Carnival Capers offering to do a bag of laundry for $15.00.. worked out a lot easier than hanging around waiting for the wash \ dryer to finish..

But it has to fit in the bag they provide.

We did at least 5 times that much in two loads.

Just wondering, did you feel a little weird doing this? Just the itemizing part...five pairs underwear, two bras. Or did you leave you undergarments out? I'm going to need to do wash on my next trip and I thought about the laundry service, but feel kind of weirdsies about it.

Hi Jen,

Can't say it bothered me.. just ticked the boxes :) You can always use the self service laundry $3.00 per wash and $3.00 per dry cycle.. friends in another cabin washed everything in the sink and used the washing line in the cabin bathroom.. hope this helps;)
