Question about tendering and priority

Hello Everyone,

We plan on getting married at the Cayman Islands during our stop aboard the Carnival Legend (if the weather holds up, *fingers crossed*).

My question is, since this is a tendered port and this is our first cruise, how does the tendering process work? Do our guest pick up tickets to leave the ship the night before? Can I catch one of the first tenders off the ship even though I did not book an excursion through Carnival?

Any advice or help is appreciated.

Thanks in advance. :)

the capers (daily newspaper) will tell you when and where to tender.

usually meet in lounge at front of the ship..get tender tickets same day .

THOSE with paid excursions get priority and it is by time of departure.

KICK back...enjoy breakfast then depart.

on our cruise there will be 11 ships docking in grand cayman and 23,000 freaking cruise passengers let loose. on one day.

Is this actually true. There will be 11 cruiseships in GC on one day all tendering in the water near Georgetown. I have only been there once before, but are you saying that 20,000 people will be ferried to and from that one pier area. Personally if it was me and this was going to be the case on my day in GC I am just going to book the cheapest early excursion that I can possibly book even if I have no intention of using it. I would want to get away from the madding crowd ASAP.
