bcco Posted January 29, 2010 #1 Share Posted January 29, 2010 Which would you choose? and why? #11010-forward, under the hair salon in the spa #11026-mid-forward, under the lifestyle room and edge of pool #11114-mid-aft, under the garden cafe (indoor buffet restaurant) All are on deck 11. NCL recommends the mid-aft one for less ship movement, but we are also concerned about noise. This is for the 13 night, Miami to NYC repo. thanks for helping us choose, we need to let them know in 2 hours.

We are in 11008 on the same trip. Want to join our Meet and Greet. Check out the roll call for that date. John

I should have added that area is our preferred location, anywhere from 11024 forward on the starboard side. Have stayed in those cabins four times and never a problem. Port side is under the gym and can be a problem.
johnql Posted January 30, 2010 #4 Share Posted January 30, 2010 I'd go with 11010, too. I was in 11002 back in Sept and it was very quiet.
retired rascal Posted January 30, 2010 #5 Share Posted January 30, 2010 On the Pearl with identical deckplans, we were in 11014 and were really pleased with it.....very quiet....up near the officers' quarters....no noise overhead. Lost some weight because we walk aft to forward multiple times daily. We joined the spa and liked that we could just run up the stairs. Some people in aft suites complained about noise from above and stuff [food, napkins blowing, etc.] landing on the balcony.
RocklandCruiser Posted January 30, 2010 #6 Share Posted January 30, 2010 Was on the Gem 2X (identical deck plans) in 11020 and 11022. Both were quiet and convenient. Any mini in that area (starboard) would be great. Of your choices I would go for 11010 or 11026.
